In Indian culture, we consider books holy, so we never ever step on books. or let our feet touch books. This video made me uncomfortable because of that. but to each their own.

My Korean mother raised us half-asian girls with floor squats. I remember her making kimchi in this huge metal pot on the floor in what we dubbed the "kimchi squat". Even at 65 years old, this lady is still as flexible as she can be. It's TOTALLY healthy for you and your soul.

It’s unrealistic to think you can do this whole video without putting your arms down, especially if you haven’t exercised in a while so my thinking is do it till it hurts and then put your arms down and do it when you’re ready to go again. I’m not in my 20s, so I give my personal self permission to work on it slowly and build up.

I'm sorry, but you're still showing off though I'm sure by mistake. When you have serious hip mobility issues, you can't do these things; you're going to cramp instead! It is better to gently train daily until you open up the hip and work towards these exercises.

  • @fenestrapain

I would not have even been able to do this with a weight when I started pt. I do like the support though!! It’s hard to have the awareness needed to do the first exercise when you’ve been compromising with other muscles the whole time.

I think an concern I have about your tube and social media in general is this. It’s so important for you all to make more content consistently but that does mean a quality issue arises where being forced to come up with something to talk about , might mean that you make slight embellished content and click bait titles and pics. But as a consumer it means I am having to deploy suchhhhhh a deep level of discernment to make sure the information I’m getting is accurate. Sigh… it’s not a cut at the creator more at the state of things and this social online world we live in.
